Gohan Gohan Size: 4' - 6' Attacks/Techniques Masenko, Kamehameha, Oozaru, Energy Dan, Zansouken, Bukujutsu, SSJ, SSJ2 Bio Gohan is the first son of Goku and Chi Chi. We see him for the first time at the beginning of DBZ as a young boy of 4. When Raditz arrives, Gohan is taken hostage, and his hidden potential is revealed. The blow he delivers to Raditz enables Goku and Piccolo to win. Following the battle with Raditz, Goku dies and Gohan is taken by Piccolo for special training, in order to prepare for the arrival of Vegita and Nappa. Piccolo makes Gohan more independant by leaving him in the wilderness alone for months. After the survival training is finished Piccolo trains Gohan to fight. The two grow quite fond of eachother during this year. During the battle with Nappa, Gohan loses confidence, and lets the other fighters down. However, Gohan never becomes as confident and determined as his father. We see another occurance of this lack of confidence versus Cell. Conceivalbly Gohan could have been the strongest fighter in the universe, but he constantly feels pressure from his mom to concentrate on his academics. Because of this Gohan probably never reaches his full potential. He has a younger brother, Goten, and eventually marries Videl and they have daughter named Pan (DBGT character). |
| Goku Goku Size: 5' 11" Attacks/Techniques Kamehameha, Kaioken, Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb), Kiaiho, Zansouken, Taiyoken (Solar Flare), Energy Dan, Dragonfist, Janken Punch, Shunkanidou (teleportation), Fusion, SSJ, Ultimate SSJ, SSJ2, SSJ3, SSJ4 (Only DBGT) Terepashi (telepathy). Bio Goku is the main character. He is of a powerful race known as Saiyans, originally from the Planet Vegita, and was sent to Earth as a baby to conquer it. After falling into a ravine, Goku hits his head, and forgets his mission. He grows up on Earth and becomes the planet's greatest champion of good. When Raditz, Goku's older brother, comes to Earth, Goku learns of his Saiyan heritage. Despite being weak for a Saiyan (3rd Class Warrior), Goku's determination, extreme training, and most of all his shear love for fighting allow him to surpass everyone in power. He was the first to reach Super Saiyan 1 and 3 in DBZ. Goku is a simple, kind hearted, brave warrior. He is married to Chi Chi and has 2 sons, Gohan and Goten. In the Freeza saga, Goku arrives just in time to save Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta from the wrath of the Ginyu force. He gives them each a senzu bean, and shows the entire Ginyu force, starting with Recoom, his new powers. Vegeta is the only one who understands that Goku is a super saiyan, but none of that matters, since Vegeta's idea of a super saiyan is nothing like the reality. Goku is tricked by Captain Ginyu, who changes bodies with him, after realizing that he is to weak to take on Goku. Goku ends up going back into his body, after a series of transfers between Ginyu, a frog, and Bulma. But eventualy he stays in the frog form. Goku, after spending some time in a healing chamber, comes out renewed and with added strength. Ofcourse while he was healing, Krillin, Gohan, and Dende used the dragonballs to make two wishes, before Vegeta and Freeza arrived on the scene. A battle begins with Freeza, against the Z-Fighters, and it ends when Goku arrives on the scene. He is over powered by Freeza, until he transforms into a super saiyan, through his anger. He defeats, but doesn't destroy Freeza, and ends up spending a long period of time on the planet Yardrat. He eventualy comes back to Earth to battle Freeza, who has already been defeated by Trunks. He is told of the Androids, and the virus he will catch. Goku still ends up getting the virus, and has to spend a couple of days recovering. After that he spends a day in the Room of Time and Space, with Gohan. When he comes out, he is stronger then ever, but still Gohan surpasses his power. He knows this, but Gohan doesn't. At the Cell games, Goku loses to Cell, and asks Gohan to finish Cell off. Ofcourse Gohan does, and transform into SSJ2. Goku dies in the battle, when he transports Cell and himself to King Kai's planet, and Cell self destructs. Goku fights in the other world tournament, and wins. But he isn't considered the winner, because he and Pickuan touch the sealing of the battle area at the same time. Goku ends up going back to earth 7 years later for one day, to fight in the Budoukai. He and the rest, end up having to leave to go fight Majin Buu and Babi Di. Goku has to go back to snake way, and goes to train Gohan in the Kaio planet. He switches places with an old Kaio, and can now go back to Earth to fuse with Gohan, who has already lost his fight against Majin buu. But he ends up fusing with Vegeta to form the saiyan Vegetto. Vegetto loses the fight against Majin buu, and Goku transforms into SSJ3 to finish off the true form of Buu. With the help of the people on Earth, he gathers a great amount of energy to form the spirit bomb that defeats kid Buu. Goku also has a major roll in GT, in which he transforms into SSJ4 after seeing Pan cry. |

Vegita Vegita Size: 5'5" Attacks/Techniques Galic Gun, Final Flash, Big Bang Attack, Fusion, Kienzan, Powerball, Oozaru, SSJ, SSJ2, SSJ4, Ultimate SSJ. Bio Being the son of King Vegita, makes Vegita the one and only "Prince of Saiyans." He possesed extraordinary power from the time of birth, originally worked for Freeza with Nappa and Raditz as his followers. After Raditz's death, Vegita came to Earth with Nappa looking for the Dragonballs (it was his goal to overthrow Freeza). Instead he met his match in Goku, but escaped and returned to Freeza's base. After healing, he was shocked to learn that Freeza was on the Planet Namek looking for Dragonballs. Furious, he immediately departed for Namek, attempting to obtain the Dragonballs before Freeza did. Despite his vast power, Vegita met stiff opposition on Namek, and reluctantly joined Gohan, Krillin, Goku.. During the battle with Freeza he is eventually killed. He is brought back life by the Dragonballs, and then brought to Earth. He eventually joins the Z-fighters, marries Bulma, and together they have a child named Trunks. After that they have a daughter named Bra, who looks alot like bulma. Even later in the series Vegita remains an outsider in the Z-team, and never loses his Saiyan pride. He is obssessed with power, and is very jealous of Goku's strength. Vegita in many ways was inspired by Goku. In the Buu saga he gives up trying to compete with Goku and finnaly realizes why Goku is always surpassing him. He realizes that Goku is not fueled by anger like him, and decides to just let his grudge against him go. Later in in GT, he turns into Golden Oozaru while trapped in Bebi, and with the help of Bulma, transforms into SSJ4. |
| Piccolo Piccolo Size: 6'5" Attacks/Techniques Masenko, Makankosappo, Shogekiha, Tsuihidan, Merging, Mystic Attack (extendable limbs), Eye Beams, Regeneration, Kyodaika, Zanzoken Bio Piccolo is the offspring of Daimon, who was the "evil half" of Kami. This makes Piccolo and Kami the same person in 2 bodies. If one dies, the other will as well. Goku fought Daimon in the original Dragonball series. Upon being killed by Goku, Daimon released his offspring Piccolo, to defeat Goku, and thus avenge his death. Due to Raditz's arrival, Piccolo finds that he must team up w/Goku to defeat Goku's older brother. Following the battle, Piccolo learns of 2 more powerful Saiyans, who were on their way to Earth, and will arrive in one year. During the fight with Raditz, Gohan revealed astonishing power. Realizing that Gohans power would be an asset against the other Saiyans, Piccolo decides to train the boy. After training Gohan for a year, Piccolo grows fond of the boy, and sacrifices himself to save Gohan in the battle with Nappa. His training also made Gohan more independent and self-confident. His fondness of Gohan is evident throughout DBZ, although Gohan eventually surpasses his mentor in power. Like Vegita, Piccolo was bad, turned good, and doesn't have strong feelings for alot of the other Z-fighters. He's more of a no nonsense military type.. although his character's personality changes somewhat throughout the series. |

Goten Goten Size: 5' 9" Attacks/Techniques Bukujutsu, Fusion, Kame Hame Ha, SSJ, Zanzoken Bio Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi Chi and makes his appearence in the Buu Saga after Goku's death. Goten is trained by Gohan who helps Goten become the youngest saiyan to turn SSJ. As a child Goten looks like an exactly miniature copy of Goku and sometimes shares the same intelect. Goten was not pressured to study as much as Gohan, and he spent his free time doing things with Trunks who bosses Goten around alot. Goten and Trunks enter the Budoukai together and Goten is surprised to see his father for the first time at the Budoukai. Goten and Trunks later on fight Buu by forming a very powerful fused saiyan called Gotenks who almost defeats Buu. As a teenager Goten has his own unique look and trains with his father in the mountains for the next Budoukai in which Goten entered himself. Gotens character goes from being an eager fighter as a young boy and a teenager, to a very subtle and in a way perverted man in GT. Goten never reaches SSJ2 and doesn't have that much of an important role in GT. |
| Chibi Trunks Chibi Trunks Size: 4' 8" Attacks/Techniques Bukujutsu, Fusion, Kamehameha, Masenko, SSJ, Zanzoken Bio Chibi Trunks is a little half saiyan half human boy who makes his appearence in the Buu Saga as a bossy, rude little boy who looks up to Gohan as his older brother. Chibi Trunks is trained by his father Vegeta and Gohan who help him reach his goal of becoming a super saiyan. He and Goten form together to become Gotenks. Chibi Trunks also makes appearences in DBZ movies and later on becomes more mature and doesn't like the idea of fighting as much |

Gotenks Size: 4' 11" Attacks/Techniques Bukujutsu, Galactica Donut, Miracle Super Punch, Kame Hame Ha, KameKameHa, Rolling Thunder Punch, Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack, SSJ, SSJ3 Bio Gotenks is a saiyan formed by the fusion of Chibi Trunks and Goten in the Buu Saga and in DBZ movies. Goten and Trunks were taught by Goku, Piccolo, and Krillin the special technique used to fuse warriors. Gotenks first battle is with Fat Buu in which Gotenks doesn't go SSJ and is beat by Buu. After that Gotenks fights Buu in his second form and almost beats him after turning SSJ 3. Gotenks is one of the most powerful fused saiyans and if Goten and Trunks were to fuse in GT their power would be limitless. |
| Vegitto Vegetto Size: 5' 9" Attacks/Techniques Barrier, Big Bang, Bukujutsu, SSJ, SSJ2, Zanzoken Bio Vegetto is a saiyan who makes his one and only appearence in the Buu saga when Goku and Vegeta fuse using the special Potara earings, to beat Majin Buu. Vegetto is one of the most powerful fused saiyans and could have beat Majin Buu without even turning SSJ. Vegetto is more humorous and merciful like Goku and has the same love for fighting. Vegetto faces Majin Buu and is turned into a little chocolate ball. After that Vegetto is eaten by Majin Buu causing Vegeta and Goku to end their fusion. |

Gogeta Gogeta Size: 5' 11" Attacks/Techniques Bukujutsu, Kamehameha, SSJ, SSJ2,SSJ3, SSJ4, Zanzoken Bio Gogeta is a powerful saiyan who makes his appearence in DBZ movie #12, when Goku and Vegeta used the special fusion dance to create Gogeta. Gogeta battles Janemba and is a very fearce apponent. Gogeta then makes his appearence one again in GT when SSJ4 Vegeta and SSJ4 Goku fuse to become SSJ4 Gogeta. Gogeta still takes on his role as the fearce warrior who acts more like Vegeta than Goku. |
